The Louisiana Purchase has gone missing. Without these precious documents, we will be returned to France! The fate of Louisiana is in your hands.

Experience an adventure steeped in history and Masonic art while visiting some of New Orleans’s most interesting museums. Teams of up to five individuals will traverse the French Quarter to look for clues, complete challenges, solve puzzles, and stop for drinks along the way in a race to rescue Louisiana.

This race will take about two and a half hours to complete. The total walking distance is up to 3.5 miles (8,000 steps).

Assemble a team of up to five of your bravest friends and meet at the Historic New Orleans Collection to receive your first clue and refreshments. If you want to make new friends, sign up as an individual and we’ll place you on a team. Don’t forget to come up with a clever team name! All participants must be at least 21 years old.

All proceeds will be donated to the French Quarter Museum Association.

This adventure is presented in conjunction with our current exhibition Mystery and Benevolence: Masonic and Odd Fellows Folk Art, a traveling exhibition by the American Folk Art Museum, and HNOC's companion exhibition A Mystic Brotherhood: Fraternal Orders of New Orleans.
