Sensory-Friendly Saturdays at HNOC are FREE, however, RSVPs are recommended.
Sensory-Friendly Saturdays are mornings of exploration and hands-on learning for neurodiverse guests and their families. These events are open to all individuals who would benefit from a low-sensory museum experience.
On Saturday, July 20, guests will visit the Unknown Sitters interactive exhibition of unidentified portrait subjects. After touring the exhibition, guests can try out some hands-on portrait activities. Transform yourself into a portrait from history using a collection of props and frames. Draw a sketch of someone or have someone make a sketch of you. Whether you like art, history, museums, or mysteries, there’s something fun for everyone on Sensory-Friendly Saturdays!
